Grounds Maintenance to Hackney’s Award Winning Residential Apartments
Valley Provincial carried out the external works of the 92 – 94 Stamford Hill housing development. This grounds maintenance project was made available by main contractors Tolent Construction. The site was a single storey retail warehouse, which was demolished to make way for a series of new buildings. Each building will range from 3-6 storeys in height. Designed by architects Stockwool, the project subsequently bought 68 new homes to the London Borough of Hackney. As a result they met the aspirations of the London Housing Design and Lifetime Home requirements. It also includes retail and office accommodation.
Our extensive exterior works focused on hard landscaping. In this case, it involved brickwork, paving, fencing and street furniture. The project also included the installation of a playground area and polymeric wetpour. Alongside this, our grounds team installed artificial grass in the back gardens of the new properties to create a low maintenance solution. Above all, we completed the works on schedule and to a high standard of workmanship.
Finally, the Sunday Times British Homes Awards 018 – Development of the Year (up to 100 homes) and the Planning Awards 2018 shortlisted the development for their awards.
