This project entailed us turning the Salisbury Primary School staff car park into a creative and vibrant Early Years Play Area. We designed by zones to provide ultimate play value for the children. These zones included a covered area so they could still have outside play in all weathers. We also designed a construction zone area to encourage learning, a sand and water area with a bespoke ‘water run’ and finally a seating area.
However, the centre piece to this school play area was a large bespoke play castle. As well as being fun it also encourages physical development of the children.
We carried out the construction of the project during the Summer Holidays to ensure minimum disruption to the school, it also meant the children got to return to a real ‘wow’ factor of the car park transformation.
“I was delighted to be able to open Salisbury School’s beautiful new nursery play area. The only problem was stopping the children clambering over all the exciting equipment long enough for a photo! It was clear they will enjoy the new facilities hugely, and benefit immensely from the exercise and from playing there with their friends.”
