McDonald’s restaurants increase appeal with landscaping schemes for exterior areas and Drive Thrus
Valley Provincial proudly completed the exterior landscaping works for refurbishing a chain of McDonald’s restaurants across London. Ultimately, the purpose was to create a green and attractive landscaping scheme that enhanced the customer’s experience. In addition, we utilised artificial surfaces as much as possible to keep maintenance requirements to a minimum.
Due to the wide scope of work, our services covered a variety of tasks. This included removal of existing landscape features, alongside extensive hard landscaping and soft landscaping works to the drive thru areas and car parks. Alongside this, there was the installation of fencing, gabions and street furniture to0. One of the restaurants features a Japanese themed garden with lighting and a water feature.
As the restaurants are in areas of constant public use, we kept to all extra safety measures and scheduling requirements. Scheduling in all project is important, but compared to maintaining safety to the public we need to keep a sensible balance.
Above all we completed all works to schedule within the strict 3 week closure period of each restaurant. It’s imperative we adhere to these deadlines to minimise any further disruption. Keeping all disruptions to a minimum is as equally important to customers as it is to a business.
On the whole, we added value for our client by creating an enhanced environment that complements their customer’s experience. Although drive thru service is intended to be quick, we wanted to ensure that the environment provided a lasting impact.
