On this project, we were the main landscaping contractors delivering a complete landscaping package for Telford Homes, including hard, soft and a play area. 
 
The works included the installation of in-situ concrete formwork to create the retaining walls. Alongside this we installed raised planters for all the beds and some of the boundary walls. We also installed Robinia play equipment and safety surfacing to suit the free fall height requirements. Installation of natural York stone, precast slabs, artificial grass and resin bound stone gave varied and interesting surface finishes to the whole project.
 
High standard soft landscaping enhanced the whole site, including the installation of a complete irrigation system and ongoing maintenance. Surface drainage and lighting column pads were all included within the scope. Valley Provincial Group supplies all materials as part of our contract.

Battling time constraints

A prior hold up compressed our workload to very tight time limits. However, we were still able to carry out our works through detailed planning and site coordination to complete the project on time.
 
Some of the originally specified products were special order items with minimum order quantities. We were able to assist the client to find alternatives which in turn saved considerable costs.
 
Carrying out the complete landscaping as the main contractors relieved the pressure on our client. It would have been very difficult in the time constraints at the end of the job to run different contractors along side each other.
